Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
- Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems.
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Prepare patients for examinations or treatments by setting up necessary equipment like Hoyer lifts or catheter care supplies.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition, including symptoms related to infectious diseases or behavioral health concerns.
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification from an accredited program with current licensure in the state of employment.
- Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU, Level I Trauma Center, PICU), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care settings.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical documentation practices.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate patient recordkeeping.
- Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) and demonstrate strong patient service skills with a compassionate approach.
- Experience with specialized procedures including catheter care, vital signs monitoring, or working within acute or post-acute care settings is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA standards.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.50 per hour
