As the first and last impression of our hospital, our Client Service Representatives play a vital role in creating an exceptional client experience while helping ensure every pet receives the care they deserve. As a Client Service Representative, you will be the face of CareVet of Columbus. You will greet clients, coordinate appointments, support communication between clients and the medical team, and help create a welcoming experience from the moment a client walks through our doors or calls our hospital.
Your ability to provide compassionate service, stay organized, and support hospital workflow is essential to delivering the highest level of patient and client care.
Welcome clients and patients with professionalism, warmth, and compassion
Schedule appointments while maximizing patient access and doctor utilization
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to client questions with confidence and empathy
Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and the medical team
Review treatment plans, estimates, and discharge instructions with clients
Process payments and accurately manage financial transactions
Maintain accurate electronic medical records
Assist with appointment confirmations and forward booking to ensure continuity of care
Support online scheduling and hospital workflow initiatives
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Collaborate with the entire hospital team to provide an exceptional client experience
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
A friendly, professional, and compassionate demeanor
Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
Commitment to creating positive experiences for every client and patient
Excellent attention to detail
Strong computer and data entry skills
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities throughout the day
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Previous veterinary client service experience preferred
Experience in customer service, hospitality, or healthcare welcomed
Comfortable learning veterinary software and technology
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work collaboratively with veterinarians, RVTs, assistants, and fellow Client Service Representatives
