Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Hybrid Medical Records & Administrative Assistant to join our team. This vital role combines managing electronic health records (EHR), ensuring healthcare privacy compliance, and providing exceptional administrative support. Responsibilities
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and medical records with accuracy, ensuring compliance with healthcare privacy protection and medical confidentiality policies.
- Maintain health information management systems, including data entry, record updates, and document organization.
- Assist with revenue cycle management tasks such as billing support and insurance documentation processing.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and supporting clinical staff as needed.
- Ensure adherence to health regulation policies and healthcare privacy regulations by following all applicable laws and internal protocols.
- Support clinical staff with medical terminology interpretation, medical coding, and records management tasks.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless electronic health records (EHR) management and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office administration or health information management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record (EHR/EMR) systems.
- Strong understanding of health regulation policies, healthcare privacy protection laws, and clinical confidentiality policies.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical coding, and revenue cycle management processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
