Office Cleaner (Evening) — Rancho Santa Margarita
Pay is $18 to $21 per hour, paid weekly. Evening shift, Monday to Friday, start time is 6:00 PM. Location: one office building in Rancho Santa Margarita.
You clean one assigned building. Not rotating sites. You learn your building and you work it, and you report to an Area Manager who knows the site and answers your text or call.
There is real room to earn more. Cleantech trains cleaners on ground-level window washing, post-construction cleaning, and deep cleaning, and pays a premium rate above your regular pay for that work. These are extra hours you earn, not guaranteed, and they add up.
Paid sick days are given to you up front at the start of the benefit year. You do not wait to earn them hour by hour. There is also room to grow. Cleantech promotes from the field.
This is a Class A office building. Tenants may still be finishing their day when you arrive, so the client sees your work and sees you. You wear a Cleantech uniform, badge in and out, and keep the space professional: no desks touched, no tenant kitchens or equipment used, no loud music or speakerphone. In return you get one steady building, a manager who has your back, and a clear path to more pay.
You work solo. Cleantech provides your uniform, equipment, and cleaning supplies. The building has badge access and on-site parking.
What you would do:
- Restrooms: Disinfect fixtures and chrome, damp mop grout lines, empty waste, and stock dispensers nightly.
- Lobby, Hallways & Elevator: Dust horizontal surfaces, vacuum carpet, mop hard floors, and polish entry glass and elevator chrome.
- Stairwells & Exterior: Sweep stairs and landings, wipe handrails, clear cobwebs, and police the outer perimeter for litter.
- Weekday Detail Rotation: Complete a daily rotating focus: high dusting (Mon), baseboards/edges (Tue), touchpoints (Wed), glass/signage (Thu), and restroom grout (Fri)
Required:
- Arrive on time for every scheduled shift
- Communicate with your Area Manager by text or phone the same shift
- Work carefully in an occupied building and leave no streaks, no dust, no overflowing bins
- Reliable way to get to the site on time
- Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds during the shift
Nice to have:
- Commercial or office cleaning experience
- Comfortable using a floor machine (we can train)
Pay is $18 to $21 per hour, weekly, with paid sick days up front. W-2 employee, nonexempt.
