We envision communities healed, poverty lessened, and lives transformed through a unified network of churches and community partners serving together. -Tri-Cities Ministries provides weekly assistance to residents including: Emergency rental and utility assistance through case management Family food bags, to-go food bags, and hygiene bags through partner supply lines Community resource navigation and referral partnerships Seasonal support initiatives (Back-to-School drive, holiday assistance, service events) Community engagement programming (Kickin’ It with the Chiefs, worship services, etc.) We serve a defined high-need area, already have meaningful community partnerships, and have strong supervision capacity.
Member Duties : The VISTA will serve as a Community Capacity-Building Specialist focused on reducing poverty through systems development, partnership expansion, program infrastructure, and funding sustainability. This role is rooted in Tri-Cities’ strategic direction to expand hunger relief support and increase long-term pathways out of poverty through digital empowerment and donor sustainability. The member will build the internal structures that enable staff, interns, and volunteers to serve families more effectively and sustainably across communities.
