About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on YouTube Production Assistant to join the team behind a large YouTube channel.
This is a full-time, 100% in-person position based in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate is interested in YouTube, video production, digital media, or content creation and is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
The Production Assistant will work closely with the Producer, talent, crew, and other members of the production team to support day-to-day operations and help ensure shoots and content projects run smoothly.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build hands-on experience in YouTube and digital media production while working directly with an active production team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day production activities for a large YouTube channel
- Support the Producer and production team before, during, and after shoots
- Assist with setting up and preparing locations, equipment, props, and other production materials
- Help coordinate production logistics and ensure the team has what it needs for each shoot
- Assist with talent, crew, and location coordination as directed
- Help organize and prepare equipment and production supplies
- Assist during filming and help keep the production organized and on schedule
- Run production-related errands and assist with pickups, deliveries, and purchases when needed
- Help track production items, tasks, and deadlines
- Assist with pre-production preparation and post-production tasks
- Help maintain organized production areas and equipment
- Communicate production needs and issues to the Producer or appropriate team member
- Troubleshoot basic production issues and help find practical solutions
- Support multiple projects and production priorities as needed
- Perform other production-related tasks to help keep shoots and projects moving efficiently
Required Qualifications
- Some professional or hands-on experience in YouTube, video production, digital media, content creation, or a related field
- Strong interest in YouTube and digital content production
- Highly organized and dependable
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and follow-through
- Able to take direction and work effectively as part of a production team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Proactive and willing to take initiative
- Able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Comfortable performing hands-on production tasks and running production-related errands
- Local to the Los Angeles area and able to reliably commute to Woodland Hills
- Able to work 100% in person
- Able to work approximately 50–60 hours per week during active production periods
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience working on YouTube videos or digital content
- Experience assisting with video shoots or production
- Experience working with creators, influencers, talent, or digital media companies
- Familiarity with basic video production equipment and set procedures
- Experience with cameras, lighting, audio, or other production equipment
- Previous experience as a Production Assistant, Production Coordinator, Content Assistant, or similar role
- Experience working in a fast-paced creative or production environment
- Basic familiarity with YouTube content-production workflows
Compensation & Schedule
$65,000 per year
Full-time, in-person position based in Woodland Hills, California, with an expected workload of approximately 50–60 hours per week during active production periods.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, proactive, and eager to learn.
The ideal candidate doesn't need to know everything on day one, but should be willing to jump in, take direction, solve problems, and help wherever needed to keep production moving.
You should be comfortable working long production days, handling a variety of responsibilities, staying organized under pressure, and working closely with a fast-paced YouTube production team.

Location Requirement
This position is 100% in person in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, CA.
Candidates must be local to the Los Angeles area and able to reliably commute to the Woodland Hills workplace.
Candidates located within approximately 15 miles of Woodland Hills are strongly preferred due to the fully in-person nature of the position and the expected 50–60-hour workweek.
Candidates outside the preferred 15-mile radius may still be considered if they are Los Angeles-area based and can reliably commute to Woodland Hills.
Important: This is not a remote or hybrid position. Applicants should be prepared to work on-site in Woodland Hills on a full-time basis.
