Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Laborer to join our manufacturing team. The General Labor is responsible for performing daily facility operations such as loading and unloading trucks, vessels, barges, and rail cars, handling grain piles, and conducting basic equipment maintenance. This role requires physical stamina, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions. Operators must ensure product quality, maintain a clean work environment, and provide excellent customer service while supporting team operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Facility Operations: Perform grain handling tasks including loading/unloading trucks, barges, vessels, and rail cars; fill and reclaim grain ground piles.
- Equipment Care: Conduct basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to ensure smooth facility operations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent service and engage positively with team members.
- Safety Compliance: Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures; use PPE as required.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Physical Duties: Perform bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting, and working in elevated areas.
- Environmental Adaptability: Work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions including heat, cold, dust, and loud noise.
- Administrative Support: Complete other duties as assigned to support facility operations.
MUST HAVE:
- Should have Loading and Unloading experience of trucks, vessels, barges
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Candidate should possess Steel Toed Safety Boots, Pants, & Sleeved Shirt
Shift Timing: 7:30AM-7PM
Weekly schedule: M-S

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
