Vernon College is seeking an adjunct Certified Nurse Aid instructor. Texas Department of Health and Human Services requires the program instructor of the classroom and clinical hours to be a minimum of:
Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse

The nurse instructor must have:

A minimum of two years nursing experience.
A minimum of one year nursing experience in caring for individuals in a long-term care setting,
And/or
Experience working for hospice and be assigned to residents in long-term care setting
And/or
Experience working for home health and be assigned to residents in long-term care setting
And/or
Be an instructor in a school of nursing or for a facility training program in charge of supervising students in long-term care setting.
Teaching experience is preferred.
