The Assistant Spa Operations Manager oversees the daily operation of the spa, ensuring exceptional guest service while supporting massage therapists, estheticians, spa attendants, and the front desk team. This role keeps operations running smoothly, maintains high cleanliness standards, and leads by example on the spa floor. Regular weekend, evening, and holiday availability is required.

Oversee daily spa operations and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.

Ensure a warm, seamless guest arrival and check-in experience.

Supervise massage therapists, estheticians, attendants, and front desk staff.

Hold therapists accountable for keeping treatment rooms clean, sanitized, stocked, and guest-ready.

Inspect treatment rooms, storage areas, and spa facilities throughout the day.

Coach, mentor, and motivate team members while maintaining accountability.

Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, payroll support, and employee relations.

Support operations during busy periods by answering phones, booking appointments, and assisting guests.

Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.

Maintain inventory and order spa operational and retail supplies.

Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Work collaboratively with Spa, Gift Shop, and Hot Tub teams.

Three or more years of leadership or management experience required. Spa or hospitality experience preferred; strong leaders from other customer-focused industries are encouraged to apply.

Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of reservation, scheduling, and POS systems is a plus.

Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
