Medical Assistant – Wound Care Team
Full-Time | Clinical Support | Patient-Focused Care
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Medical Assistant to join our Wound Care Team. In this role, you will provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure high-quality patient care and smooth daily operations within our wound care department.
The ideal candidate is organized, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment while delivering exceptional patient service.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain/document medical histories and vital information
- Assist providers with wound care treatments and minor in-office procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Coordinate patient care needs between providers, staff, and patients
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
- Assist with inventory and supply management
- Support daily administrative and clinical operations
- Provide professional, compassionate patient care at all times
Qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- CMA or RMA certification preferred
- Current CPR certification required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and EMR systems preferred
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and patient care

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to assist patients with mobility as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
