Provide strategic leadership and coordination for education, training, and professional development activities across the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) division. Working collaboratively with EMS Division leadership, Medical Directors, and senior paramedic leaders, this role leads the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of division-wide education and training initiatives.
Serve as the subject matter expert for EMS education operations, ensuring alignment of training initiatives with clinical priorities, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives. This position supports the development and sustainability of EMS education infrastructure, oversees compliance and reporting functions, and advances community-facing EMS education initiatives.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, accreditation, contractual, and institutional requirements related to EMS education, training, certification, and continuing education.
Coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of EMS education and training materials, including curricula, presentations, protocols, manuals, online learning content, reports, and other program resources.
Maintain program timelines, calendars, and deliverables by coordinating training activities, tracking deadlines, and aligning priorities with operational and organizational goals.
Manage and monitor program budgets, contracts, vendors, educational technology platforms, and related resources supporting EMS education initiatives.
Organize and facilitate meetings, committees, site visits, training events, and outreach activities while serving as a liaison with EMS partners, community organizations, instructors, and stakeholders.
Coordinate and support EMS education and training programs, including continuing education, skills training, protocol updates, and specialty certification programs. Collaborate with Medical Directors, instructors, and subject matter experts to support program delivery.
Collect, analyze, and report program data related to participation, compliance, certifications, competencies, licensure, and effectiveness. Develop reports and presentations to support quality improvement and decision-making.
Communicate program progress, outcomes, and recommendations to EMS leadership, Medical Directors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
Participate in committees and workgroups supporting EMS education, professional development, quality improvement, and advancement of the profession.
Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training, and support of program staff, instructors, contractors, and trainees as assigned.
Provide recommendations and support for EMS education planning, program improvement, operational readiness, and innovation initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Required Experience: 5 year’s
