Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Controller to lead our financial operations with precision and enthusiasm. Duties
Sage Software experience required
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and compliance with organizational policies.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including statements aligned with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct cash management activities, including forecasting, monitoring cash flow, and optimizing liquidity strategies.
- Perform technical accounting tasks related to governmental, non-profit, or public accounting environments as needed.
- Support budgeting processes, financial analysis, and forecasting efforts to inform organizational planning.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms for efficient financial management.
- Execute payroll processing accurately while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Assist in regulatory reporting requirements and prepare documentation for external audits or reviews.
Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in financial concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, account analysis, account reconciliation, debits & credits.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero or equivalent financial management tools.
- Familiarity with cash management strategies, budgeting techniques, and financial analysis methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly through written reports and presentations.

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
