Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing information and assistance to enhance their experience
- Assist in coordinating event activities, ensuring timely execution and smooth transitions
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve conflicts promptly with professionalism and positivity
- Handle cash transactions accurately during food service or merchandise sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floor area to uphold safety standards and aesthetic appeal
- Support lifeguard duties if applicable, including monitoring pool safety and responding to emergencies
- Engage with children and families, creating an inclusive environment that encourages enjoyment and safety
- Use public speaking skills to make announcements or provide instructions clearly and confidently
Qualifications
- Previous experience in events management, hospitality, or food service is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for guest satisfaction
- Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience working with children or in a resort or theater environment is a plus
- Lifeguard certification or experience is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if necessary
- Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking and guest interaction
- Capable of handling cash accurately and responsibly during transactions
- Ability to work flexible hours in a lively setting that may include evenings, weekends, or holidays
