Job Title: Futsal Soccer Assistant Coach- Middle School Sports
Job Overview:
6 week program Oct 20th -Dec 10th 2026 (with Thanksgiving break off)
We are seeking a passionate beginners and experienced Futsal Coaches to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience as an athlete with a will to see the youth in our community succeed. As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for leading and instructing individuals or groups of middle school students, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Selected individuals will be assigned to a middle school site.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging training programs tailored to the needs and skill levels of participants.
- Instruct athletes on proper techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport.
- Organize and supervise practice sessions, drills, and competitions.
- Provide constructive feedback to athletes to enhance their performance and skills.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during training sessions and events.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to coordinate schedules and events.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment that fosters teamwork and personal growth.
Experience:
- Previous experience in playing sports or instructing related sports preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire middle school students between ages of 11 and 13.
- Knowledge of child development principles is advantageous.
- Previous experience in sports instruction or childcare is preferred.
General Season Details:
5 week program
1. Sports Information day meeting (for students and parents)
2. Tryout camp practice ( tues & thurs) Girls 4pm -6pm & Boys 6pm -8pm
3. Saturday track sports clinic day - 10am- 12pm
4. Up to 2 weeks of team practice ( tues & thurs) Girls 4pm -6pm & Boys 6pm -8pm
5. Indoor Futsal Soccer single elimination round game tournament up to 3 games
