Job Overview
Dog daycare & kennel attendant — Part-time Spring City, PA · $15–$18/hr · Part-time
If working with dogs every day sounds like a dream job, we want to hear from you — but only if you've done this before. We're a small family farm kennel and doggie daycare in the Spring City area looking for someone who takes animal care seriously.
Day-to-day: supervising and playing with dogs, relief walks (a lot of them), feeding and medicating, pick-up and drop-off assistance, bathing, and keeping our facility spotless. This is a physical job — you'll be on your feet all day and will need to lift 50+ lbs.
Weekends and holidays are the busiest days we have — and they're required:
Think about it: that's exactly when families travel, board their dogs, and need us most. Weekday splits run 7–12pm and 3–6pm. Saturdays: 7–12pm and 1–3pm. Sundays: 7–12pm and 3–5pm. We need someone who understands this going in and is fully committed — not someone who'll work it out later.
You'll need: At least 1 year of commercial dog handling or kennel experience · 18+ · Reliable transportation · Genuine, confirmed weekend and holiday availability
Pay: $14–$17/hr based on experience + employee service discount
When you apply, tell us about your experience — and mention your favorite dog breed. It's a small thing, but it tells us you actually read this.
