ABOUT THE ROLE
Problems Are Our Playground. And that is how we play here. You'll look for ways to solve problems for our clients with our group of weird, wonderful, dedicated, and talents peeps...our one-of-a-kind minds. You'll set the example for junior teams, ask tough questions, develop smart platforms, create challenging and audacious work, and help shepherd accounts. You'll also create in ways that don't involve traditional advertising at all with an off-kilter sponsorship, an activation, a new tech, or something we can't even think of in this description. You'll oversee discovering and pushing ideas that other agencies can’t.
And yes, you need to know the blah blah blahs of advertising, marketing and communications...so we're hoping you have some years in the business and a book to show us you can create great, award-winning, and effective work.
You don't have to work in our office or any office. In fact, our CCO works out of his van. But it would be nice if you were on the West Coast or the Pacific Time Zone for obvious reasons.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Dream it. Build it. Ship it. From big brand ideas to the daily work that actually gets seen.

Create ideas that don’t look, feel, or behave like traditional advertising.

Concept bold, original, culturally plugged-in work across all mediums.

Lead ideas from first spark to final execution—concepting, presenting, producing.

Deliver multiple directions because the first idea is rarely the best one.

Take real creative ownership and fight for the work when it matters.

Collaborate hard with strategy, client partners, production, government affairs, and beyond.

Partner with junior teams, ACDs, and CDs to elevate the thinking and push the craft.

Know the client, the category, and the audience inside and out.

Be a generous teammate by supporting, elevating, and pushing the work (and each other).

Stay ahead of culture, trends, and tools (yes, including AI).

Help clients solve big problems—not just fill media space.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

5+ years of agency experience with a strong, thoughtful portfolio to prove it.

Ability to interpret briefs independently and lead ideation with confidence.

Teams who proactively sell brave, unconventional ideas that solve client problems.

Has experience with true 360 thinking by adapting ideas to the native logic of each medium, not just extending a campaign executional across placements.
- Knows how to concept for both organic and paid social and understand they’re not the same animal.
- A forward-thinking creative mindset that pushes past blocks to find fresh angles.

A relentless problem-solver who pushes past “good enough” to find something better.

Strong time management skills—you can juggle multiple workstreams without dropping the ball.

Comfortable receiving feedback and using it to make the work better.

A solutions-oriented problem solver who looks for the “how,” not the “why not.”
