Job Title: Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI Lab

Job Type: 13-week contract with the possibility of extensions
Shift Timing: Days 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM
Working Hours: 40 hours per week; 10 hrs/day, and 4 days in a week (4x10s)
Schedule: Monday–Friday; Weekends Covered By Call Rotation
Floating Expectations: First to Float Between ECT/Endo Assignments
Pay Range: $50/hr. - $67/hr.
(Pay based on the experience, miles, and working hours).

Position Summary:
A minimum of 2 years of endoscopy RN experience is required. In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive clinical expertise, including experience with advanced medical procedures and EMR/EHR systems, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unit Details:
- EMR: EPIC and Provation.
- Approximately 25 procedures per day.
- Patient Mix: 75% outpatient and 25% inpatient.
- The unit also supports Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) three times per week.
- Nurses assist with: Pre-operative preparation, Intra-operative support (time-out and documentation), Post-operative recovery care

Required Qualifications:
- Most Updated Resume
- VA State Active RN License
- BLS-AHA Certification
- ACLS-AHA Certification
- PALS-AHA Certification (preferred)
- Must pass ECG competency exam on Day 1 (pass/fail, one attempt)
