- Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocol adherence
- Conduct detailed sanitation of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to uphold health standards
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to support overall facility upkeep
- Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks while practicing safe lifting practices to prevent injury
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report needs for replenishment or equipment maintenance
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments with custodial expertise
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and sanitation standards
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Skilled in manual handling, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices to ensure personal safety and efficiency
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs and floor care such as buffing and polishing floors
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures consistently while maintaining high-quality work standards
