We are needing to hire a welder with experience in MIG and stick processes who is experienced in shop and field work.
The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years onsite construction experience in welding stick process as well as ready to work in shop producing assemblies.
The ideal candidate will be ready to train or begin a foreman position and able to lead a small crew to complete work in and out of state.
The MIG Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for processing components of fabricated assemblies per prints. Shop welding is MIG process, primarily steel components as well as occasional stainless steel items. Shop tools such as drill press, bandsaw and rotary bender will be used. Other duties will be unloading trucks, assisting with supply runs and working on construction sites.
Onsite work will be on large scale construction projects field welding/Cutting or other methods of installation (drilling/bolting/etc.). Occasional Overnight travel may be required as we provide services in 48 states, typically 4-10 days every month depending on work schedule.
You will report directly to our Lead welder for daily tasks.
- Must be able to work in a team environment as well as unsupervised
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be comfortable in a construction setting
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Previous Experience
Previous work experience in welding and fabrication or Trade school equivalent preferred.

High School Diploma or Equivalent
