Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor on 1st to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor on 1st, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and effective leadership qualities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor on 1st
Location:Norcross, Georgia
Pay Range:$85,000 - $100,000
What's the Job?
- Assess all damaged and non-functional equipment to determine necessary corrective actions.
- Delegate assignments and instruct maintenance technicians to ensure efficient repairs.
- Maintain and repair plant equipment, including flat freezers, refrigeration systems, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission issues on manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards, including HACCP, Lock out/Tag out, GMP, and others.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior maintenance experience in the food or meat industry; RTE experience preferred.
- 2-4 years in a supervisory capacity overseeing maintenance teams.
- Proficiency in plumbing, 480v electrical systems, welding, refrigeration, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls.
- Experience with PLCs and welding is a plus; strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
