Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards by performing precise inspections and measurements throughout the production process. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and uphold our commitment to delivering top-quality products to our customers. Position Summary:
Conduct quality inspections of materials and process with measuring and test equipment and determine quality acceptance decisions and carry out the necessary follow-up actions. The Quality Inspector will also administer and monitor the internal audit process while maintaining quality records from the findings. You will prepare and distribute metrics and participate in the 8D corrective actions programs.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections as defined for each customer
- Complete daily process audits
- Keep records in Excel spreadsheets for the completed audits
- Take pictures of product as required and keep in appropriate storage location
- Train to become a quality system auditor and complete scheduled quality system audits based on ISO9001
- Use SAP for certain quality related tasks
- Follow work instructions and ensure instructions are up to date
- Assist with training as needed for quality and other employees
- Assist with root cause analysis when needed for quality issues from the customer and internally
- Cross train in all quality auditor process including other Louisville work sites
Job Requirements:
- Problem solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in inspection techniques
- Can easily apply computer skills to communicate audit/inspection results
- SAP, Latest MS Office Applications
- Excellent accuracy
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have the ability to work long, flexible hours including overtime
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Must be able to bend, pull, push, lift, and traverse stairs
- May lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to walk or stand on the job for up to 12 hours or more
- Must be able to use a pallet jack and move materials if needed

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
