Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of goods within our distribution center, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining seamless shipping and receiving operations. Your expertise in forklift operation, inventory management, and warehouse logistics will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while supporting the overall flow of goods through our supply chain. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, move, and stock merchandise.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using inventory management software and data entry systems.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and organizing products for delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and updates in warehouse management systems.
- Ensure compliance with shipping logistics standards, trade regulations, and international trade requirements during order processing.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize storage solutions and streamline warehouse distribution processes.
- Assist with order picking & packing for e-commerce orders and support order fulfillment activities to meet delivery deadlines.
- Conduct routine safety inspections on equipment and work areas to uphold warehouse safety protocols.
- Support warehouse operations by loading and unloading trucks efficiently while adhering to proper safety procedures.
- Utilize ERP systems for data entry, tracking shipments, and managing inventory levels effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
- Familiarity with shipping logistics, order picking & packing processes, and international trade regulations is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills for inventory control and data entry accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining a focus on safety standards.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly desirable.
- Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach when interacting with team members or external partners.
- Able to lift 40lb cartons.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
