Kilauea Pest Control is looking for a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Full-Time Termite Technician to join our growing team. If you enjoy working outdoors, solving problems, and helping homeowners protect one of their biggest investments, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Termite Technician, you'll inspect residential and commercial properties for termite activity, perform treatments, recommend solutions, and educate customers on protecting their homes and businesses. No previous termite experience? No problem! We provide paid training, licensing, and ongoing professional development to help you build a rewarding long-term career.
What You'll Do
- Perform termite inspections for residential and commercial properties.
- Identify evidence of termite activity, wood-destroying organisms, moisture issues, and conditions conducive to infestations.
- Perform termite treatments using company-approved products, equipment, and industry best practices.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and application equipment during treatments and repairs.
- Clearly explain inspection findings and treatment recommendations to customers.
- Provide professional treatment recommendations, answer customer questions, and help customers confidently choose the best solution to protect their home or business.
- Accurately document inspections, treatments, diagrams, and recommendations using handheld technology.
- Maintain your company vehicle, equipment, and tools in a clean, organized, and professional condition.
- Follow all company safety standards, Hawaii state regulations, and industry best practices.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while representing Kilauea Pest Control with professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Two years of work experience preferred in customer service, construction, skilled trades, military, landscaping, home services, or a related field.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while managing a daily route.
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable learning and using mobile technology for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to obtain all required Hawaii pest control certifications and licensing (company-paid training provided).
- Willingness to work full-time (40 hours per week). Sundays are always off.
Physical Requirements
- Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, reach, and balance while working in crawl spaces, attics, and other confined areas, sometimes for extended periods.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in Hawaii's varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable climbing and working on ladders, including two-story heights, for extended periods when necessary.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles, equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
Requirements
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
