Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for children in your care
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages positive behavior management and social interaction among children
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports learning and safety standards in compliance with licensing regulations
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic infant care as needed for younger children
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing individualized care plans and working closely with specialists when necessary
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Certification in First Aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment
- Ability to engage children through creative activities such as arts & crafts, storytelling, and interactive play
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and team members
- Passionate about caregiving, nurturing young learners, and supporting their growth through structured routines

Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour
