The Opportunity
As Procurement & Supply Chain Manager, you'll ensure Kaiser has the materials, equipment and supplier partnerships needed to successfully deliver every project.
You'll play a key role in controlling costs, reducing supply risk and building a procurement function that supports Kaiser's continued growth.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that support Kaiser's operational and commercial objectives.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for elevator equipment, materials and subcontracted services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to improve pricing, service and reliability.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing to support project schedules.
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure materials and equipment are available when required.
- Manage supplier performance, resolving delivery or quality issues quickly and effectively.
- Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise project disruption.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier agreements and procurement documentation.
- Monitor market trends, pricing and supplier performance to support informed purchasing decisions.
- Continuously improve procurement processes, systems and reporting as the business grows.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management.
- Experience within the elevator industry or commercial construction environment.
- Previous experience with an independent elevator contractor preferred.
- Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Experience managing procurement budgets and cost control initiatives.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain best practices.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
