Duties
- Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders using RF scanners, order pickers, and pallet jacks to ensure accurate and timely shipment processing
- Load and unload trucks safely using equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and stockers while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves accurately and conducting regular cycle counts with inventory management software and ERP systems
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 to track shipments, update inventory records, and facilitate data entry tasks
- Prepare shipments for international trade compliance by verifying trade documentation and adhering to shipping & receiving procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by following proper packaging standards and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with team members on logistics planning, order fulfillment, and optimizing warehouse distribution processes
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred
- Proficiency with inventory management software, ERP systems, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing
- Valid certification for forklift operation or reach truck is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for stock management and data entry
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is advantageous
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and stand or walk for extended periods throughout the shift
