Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tire and Lube Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tire services, oil changes, and basic vehicle maintenance to ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Perform tire rotations, replacements, balancing, and repairs with precision and care
- Conduct oil changes using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring proper disposal of used fluids
- Assist with wheel alignments to improve vehicle handling and safety
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs or potential issues
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Demonstrated mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Experience performing oil changes, tire services, alignments, and basic vehicle maintenance
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Ability to lift heavy tires or vehicle parts safely during daily tasks
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and general mechanical principles is a plus
- Service technician experience or related training is advantageous but not required
