Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using specialized tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and engine system issues on motorcycles and powersports vehicles
- Repair and maintain motorcycle engines, suspensions, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components with precision and efficiency
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques to complete repairs to manufacturer standards
- Conduct basic troubleshooting to determine root causes of vehicle problems and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements
- Perform all aspects of vehicle maintenance including tire changes, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and engine tune-ups
- Assist customers by explaining repair procedures, providing estimates, and ensuring excellent service experiences
- Complete detailed service reports, inspection logs, and maintenance records to ensure transparency and quality control
Requirements
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in motorcycle repair and maintenance
- Extensive knowledge of automotive engine systems, electrical diagnostics, suspension systems, brake repair, and mechanical systems repair
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools for automotive diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with high performance race repair and powersports engine servicing is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling motorcycle parts or heavy equipment
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with assembly work, and the use of various hand tools and power tools
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients
- Basic vehicle troubleshooting skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance
- Valid mechanic certification or equivalent experience in motorcycle or powersports engine repair is preferred
