American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Oncology outpatient clinic position in Rapid City, SD, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience.

Outpatient oncology clinic setting focused on Medical Oncology and Chemotherapy Infusion
-
RNs typically see approximately 15–25 patients per day with clinical assistant (CA) support
-
Epic EMR experience is required; Omnicell used for medication dispensing
-
8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
-
No weekend rotation required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
No holiday coverage required
-
No floating required
-
Time off requests subject to approval

Active RN license in South Dakota (SD) or a Compact state license currently in hand
-
Current BLS certification required
-
OCN certification preferred but not required
-
Minimum 1.5 years of nursing experience required

Epic EMR proficiency required

Proficiency in chart checks, patient rooming, vital signs, weight assessment, review of systems, and medication reconciliation

Must be comfortable training in other supportive clinic areas as needed, including assisting with physicians and referrals

2 professional references dated within the past year required for consideration

DOB and SSN required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Former permanent staff must wait a full year before returning as a travel nurse

Unit support includes a charge nurse, resource nurse, CA, and physician/ARNP on-site

Orientation takes place in-department at the clinic
