Description
Lubrication Technician should have a basic working knowledge of natural gas engines, compressors & compressor lubrication systems, and controls systems. Individuals should have a basic operational and mechanical background pertinent to the oil and gas industry. The Lubrication Technician will have a basic working knowledge on gas compressor lubrication systems and the ability to perform mechanical, diagnostic and analytical skills in a customer service based environment with minimal supervision.
Duties
• Basic knowledge on compressor lubrication systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective field service on gas compression lubrication equipment on site at client locations.
• Maintain proficiency to accurately and efficiently diagnose all compressor lubrication system problems.
• Perform strip and re-tubes on compressor lubrication systems.
• Maintain and grow customer relations.
• Represent company in a professional manner.
• Responsible for maintaining a company vehicle.
• Adhere to all company and government HSE regulations.
• Attend required HSE meetings.
• Assist with other duties and assignments as needed.
• Manage time and schedule.
• Assist other lubrication technicians and mechanics.
• Complete and submit all documentation accurately and promptly.
• Maintain accurate record keeping.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls.
• Perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Order parts for jobs and ability to quote projects.
• Travel International domestic and international as required.
• Provide all basic hand tools (Company will provide all specialty tooling).
• Have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
