Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate a team of canvassers to meet and exceed sales, fundraising, and outreach goals
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies tailored to target communities
- Train team members on communication skills, negotiation techniques, and customer service best practices
- Coordinate door-to-door campaigns, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and safety standards
- Monitor team performance through regular feedback sessions and performance metrics
- Foster positive relationships with community members, organizations, and stakeholders
- Manage scheduling, reporting, and logistical arrangements for outreach activities
- Recruit and build a team of canvassers and appointment setters
- Work directly with ownership to scale operations across Virginia
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong background in marketing, sales, or customer service roles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with broader communities
- Experience in door-to-door canvassing or telemarketing campaigns is preferred
- Skilled negotiator capable of handling objections professionally
- Knowledge of fundraising techniques and community outreach strategies
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Previous canvassing or direct sales management experience
- Solar, roofing, or home improvement experience is a plus
