Job Title: Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting
Pay Rate: $75,300 – $125,500 annually
Duration: Contract

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting to join a dynamic Corporate Finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring that significant business transactions are accurately researched, documented, and recorded in compliance with applicable US GAAP and/or IFRS accounting standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close activities, audit support, and technical accounting analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Prepare, review, and maintain supporting schedules, account reconciliations, financial analyses, and workpapers.
- Conduct technical accounting research and detailed reviews to ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements.
- Manage quarterly IFRS reporting packages and support annual US GAAP audit activities for assigned entities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and efficient recording of business transactions.
- Provide guidance and technical support to accounting team members.
- Assist external auditors by preparing requested documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Perform additional accounting and reporting duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of accounting experience in a corporate accounting department and/or public accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with integrated accounting systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active CPA, CMA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience with SAP, Business Intelligence (BI/BW), or related financial systems.
- Prior audit experience.
- Experience mentoring or supervising accounting workflows.
Technical Environment
Experience with the following systems is highly desirable:
- SAP
- Business Objects Financial Consolidation (BOFC)
- BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI)
- ProSystems FX
- Microsoft Office 365 (particularly Excel)

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.
