Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in planning and executing engaging lessons and activities tailored to children's developmental stages.
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times.
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies.
- Help with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor play to promote healthy habits.
- Collaborate with team members to monitor individual progress and adapt activities to meet diverse needs, including those of children with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play.
- Support emergency procedures by applying first aid when necessary and following safety protocols diligently.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior and social skills.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage children positively.
