Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Construction Foreman to support and lead field construction activities for traffic safety and enforcement deployments across the United States. This role is a hands-on, working leadership position responsible for overseeing on-site installations, coordinating crews and contractors, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and supporting service or redeployment efforts when needed.
The Construction Foreman will work closely with the Construction and Field Operations teams and must be flexible, travel-ready, and comfortable stepping into active job sites, deployments, and service environments. The ideal candidate brings strong construction experience, leadership in the field, and a problem-solving mindset suited for dynamic, fast-paced deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Installation
- Lead and support on-site construction, installation, and deployment activities for Blue Line Solutions projects.
- Serve as the on-site point of contact during active installations and field work.
- Direct and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal field teams to ensure work is completed safely and correctly.
- Perform hands-on installation work as needed, including equipment mounting, site setup, and construction support tasks.
- Ensure installations meet project specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations.
Construction & Site Oversight
- Conduct pre-installation site reviews to confirm readiness, access, utilities, and conditions.
- Oversee daily job site activities and enforce safety protocols and company standards.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues quickly to minimize delays or rework.
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are used efficiently and appropriately.
- Support project schedules by coordinating labor, materials, and timelines in the field.
Service & Deployment Support
- Travel nationally to support new deployments, redeployments, and service-related construction needs.
- Assist Field Service teams with construction-related repairs, adjustments, or site modifications.
- Respond to urgent field needs when required, including service support outside standard hours.
Coordination & Communication
- Communicate regularly with Construction leadership on project progress, risks, and field conditions.
- Provide accurate field updates, documentation, and photos as required.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Field Service, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Support project closeout activities and site handoffs.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or technical training preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on construction experience, including field leadership or foreman-level responsibilities.
- Experience managing crews, subcontractors, or job site activities.
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices and job site compliance.
- Ability to read and interpret basic plans, layouts, and installation requirements.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the U.S. (often multi-week deployments).
