We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Retail Store Manager to lead our retail team to success! Duties
- Lead and manage the retail sales team, providing coaching, training, and development to enhance performance and customer engagement.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control to ensure product availability and presentation standards.
- Manage daily store operations such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, and cashier supervision.
- Implement sales strategies, pricing policies, and promotional activities to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting efforts, and manage payroll processes to build a motivated and efficient team.
- Maintain operational standards by supervising stock levels, overseeing purchasing decisions, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize strong management skills to handle budgeting, scheduling shifts, supervising staff performance, and managing customer service issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with a focus on team supervision and operational oversight.
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory management.
- Demonstrated ability in retail sales management including pricing strategies, merchandising, POS systems operation, and sales management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively through managerial communication and training & development initiatives.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases; proficiency in basic math for daily financial tasks is essential.
- Experience with retail industry sales team management tools such as POS systems and inventory control software.
- Knowledge of operational management practices including budgeting, cash handling procedures, stock replenishment, merchandising standards, and store safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
