Senior Project Manager, Advanced Manufacturing Programs (Remote)
Authentise Modular Systems is hiring a senior project manager to lead delivery of a complex advanced manufacturing program for a U.S. government customer.
This is a high-trust role for someone who can manage technical delivery where hardware, software, vendors, site readiness, customer decisions, and acceptance requirements all intersect. You do not need to be the technical owner. You do need to be the person who sees the hidden dependencies early, keeps the plan honest, and makes sure the right decisions happen before they become schedule problems.
You will work across Authentise, customer stakeholders, technical partners, suppliers, and internal engineering teams. This is a chance to join a new capability area early, shape how it gets delivered, and help build the operating model around it.
Who you are
- US Citizen
- at least 10 years Project management experience at the highest level of execution involving physical systems, software, suppliers, and customer acceptance.
- at least 8 years Project Management experience directly in the Department of War or interfacing with it.
- You know manufacturing intimately
- Shown entrepreneurial endeavors: You may have transitioned out of the military (itself an entrepreneurial endeavor), or shown some other form of hustle. If you've transitioned, we expect you will have been on the outside for 2-8 years.
What you’ll do
- Own the integrated delivery plan across technical teams, suppliers, customer stakeholders, procurement, site readiness, testing, and acceptance.
- Manage the critical path, risks, actions, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, changes, and escalations.
- Coordinate across software, manufacturing, engineering, operations, procurement, finance, and external partners.
- Keep scope, milestones, acceptance criteria, and customer expectations aligned. Identify integration risks early and push teams to validate assumptions before they become expensive.
- Track vendor commitments, lead times, technical readiness, customer inputs, and delivery blockers.
- Prepare clear weekly reporting: status, risks, decisions needed, actions, blockers, and next steps.
- Make sure project evidence is captured cleanly for customer acceptance, audit, and follow-on delivery.
- Translate between technical specialists, operators, suppliers, and government stakeholders so everyone leaves meetings clear on what happens next.
Profile The right person is organized, calm, technically curious, and direct. They are comfortable in a room with engineers, suppliers, customer stakeholders, and operators, and can quickly separate the real blockers from the noise.
They know that a good schedule is useful, but the real job is finding the decisions, dependencies, and assumptions that will break the schedule later. They make those visible early, assign owners, and keep pressure on until they are resolved.
