About This Role
We're looking for an experienced housekeeper who works independently, communicates well, and takes real pride in the homes they care for. This position supports three separate families across multiple residences, and understanding the preferences, routines, and priorities of each family is a core part of the job. Every household runs a little differently, and the right person will take the time to learn those differences and manage accordingly.
This isn't a position where someone tells you what to do each morning. You'll receive direction on priorities and any special requests from each family, but you own your daily schedule and workflow from there. Strong communication, good judgment, and the ability to balance the needs of multiple households are what make someone successful in this role.
Many of the spaces are lightly used, so you'll work from a rotational cleaning schedule rather than grinding through the same rooms every day. If you take pride in your work and want a stable, long-term position with families who will genuinely value you, this is it.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No regular nights or weekends expected
- Stable, predictable hours with flexibility for household activity across families
What You'll Do
- Maintain residences across three family households, a guest house, and stable kitchen and bath areas
- Learn and honor the individual preferences and routines of each family
- Manage your daily schedule across properties based on household activity and shifting priorities
- Handle laundry, folding, and returning items to proper locations in each home
- Change bed linens, make beds, and reset living spaces
- Clean and maintain bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Deep clean lightly used spaces on a rotational schedule
- Prepare guest spaces and the guest house as needed
- Monitor and restock household supplies, toiletries, and cleaning products across all properties
- Stay observant and flag anything that needs extra attention based on each family's schedule or activity
- Communicate proactively with each family about their needs, priorities, and any scheduling changes
Who You Are
- Experienced in private home housekeeping, ideally across multiple households
- Someone who naturally picks up on how different families like things done and adjusts accordingly
- Self-motivated — you don't need daily direction to know what needs doing
- A strong communicator who follows through and speaks up when something needs attention
- Organized and able to manage competing priorities across multiple properties
- Professional, dependable, and trustworthy with private family spaces
- Adaptable when household schedules or priorities shift
- Someone who genuinely takes pride in maintaining beautiful, well-run homes
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift approximately 40 pounds
- Comfortable bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods throughout the workday
