Snowden River Surgery Center is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time position in our ophthalmic ambulatory surgical center. Duties will rotate between pre-op, PACU, and OR circulating. Criteria:
- Candidate must possess excellent critical thinking skills and be detail-oriented
- Requires teamwork and flexibility
- Knowledge of maintaining a sterile field
- The nurse will supervise and direct patient care in a single operating room
- The nurse will organize time, equipment, supplies, and personnel to provide effective and efficient case management.
- The nurse will address patient needs during admission to the operating room, with attention to requirements specific to the ASC setting
- Hours vary slightly with the surgical schedule, but typical hours are 0700 to 1530.
- The ideal candidate will be available 5 days per week.
Required Experience:
- 2 years of Nursing Experience
- Critical care experience is a plus
- Ambulatory Surgery experience is preferred
- BLS, ACLS are required
- Must have current Maryland R.N. license
