American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a hospital in Texas, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of experience.

29-bed Med/Surg unit with a cardiac and telemetry patient population

Day shift: 06:45–19:15

13-week contract

Charting performed in Epic

Active TX or compact RN license currently in hand

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale

Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Valid driver's license required for consideration

Two professional references required for consideration

Implements and monitors patient care plans, coordinates care across disciplines, and communicates patient condition as appropriate

Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team

Navy or maroon scrubs required

Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
