Job Title: 911 & IFT Dispatcher

Job Description:
We are seeking a calm, organized Dispatcher to handle 911 emergencies and interfacility transport (IFT) calls. You will coordinate EMS units, communicate with hospitals and field personnel, and ensure timely, efficient responses. Key responsibilities include:
Receiving and prioritizing 911 and IFT calls
Dispatching EMS units and monitoring their status
Communicating with hospitals, patients, and field personnel
Maintaining accurate records of all calls and activities
Following EMS dispatch protocols and procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous 911 or EMS dispatch experience preferred
Excellent communication and multitasking skills
Familiarity with CAD systems and medical terminology a plus
Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods while monitoring communications systems.
Capability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
