Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment throughout the facility. Depending on experience and department assignment, technicians may support CNC machinery, robotic and laser systems, stamping presses, assembly equipment, automation systems, and other manufacturing equipment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation-related equipment issues.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
- Maintain and repair production equipment in CNC, laser, assembly, and stamping operations.
- Diagnose issues with PLCs, controls, drives, sensors, motors, and automation systems.
- Support robotic systems, including Fanuc and ABB equipment where applicable.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Perform machinery adjustments, installations, and equipment improvements.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reliability.
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders.
- Follow all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
QualificationsRequired
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding fundamentals.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Must provide basic hand tools.
Preferred
- Experience supporting one or more of the following:
- CNC machining equipment
- Laser and robotic systems
- Assembly equipment
- Stamping presses
- Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or ABB controls.
- Automotive manufacturing experience.
- Associate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
- Recent technical school graduates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
