Duties
- Support the kitchen management team in overseeing daily food production, ensuring timely and accurate meal preparation.
- Assist with supervising kitchen staff, including training new team members and providing ongoing development to foster a motivated and efficient team.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations through regular inspections and proper food handling procedures.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Contribute to shift management by coordinating staff schedules, overseeing food quality, and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Support catering, banquet, or special event food production when needed, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising teams, staff training, and managing hospitality teams effectively.
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
- Solid understanding of food safety management practices and food industry regulations.
- Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis to support restaurant profitability.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management and guest satisfaction.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in shift management, managing hospitality teams, and coordinating food production processes.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
