East West Staffing, Inc. (EWS) is currently seeking an experienced OSP Civil Project Manager. This Manager will be responsible to plan, assign and direct the employees who are engaged in aerial and underground construction and maintenance of different fiber optic systems and support items. This includes the engineering design, construction, implementation and maintenance of services.
This candidate must possess a Utility Contractor License.
Requirements of the OSP Civil Project Manager
- Previous experience building large city-wide civil infrastructure including Active Ethernet networks for FTTH.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Project, Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Must be able to read blueprints, Fiber AutoCAD and other technical drawings and documents.
- Possess a Georgia Utility Contractor License
- Possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Must be able to travel about 1.5 hour radius from Buford, GA.

Responsibilities of the OSP Civil Project Manager
- Leads day to day oversight of production and quality assurance related to construction, splicing and safety in accordance with standards/guidelines/regulations.
- Primarily oversees 3rd Party vendors and small internal team.
- Completes status updates and ensures tracking on time and within budget.
- Provide technical support for Field Operations and other departments.
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned projects
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
- Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
- Demonstrates the ability to think pro-actively with excellent problem-solving skills.
Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
