Delivery Driver & Brewery Support (Full-Time)
Dassai Blue Sake Brewery – Hyde Park, NY
Position Overview:
Dassai Blue Sake Brewery is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team. This role primarily focuses on delivering sake to accounts across New York City, upstate New York, and surrounding areas.
In addition to deliveries, this position supports Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) shipments, purchase order (PO) fulfillment, tasting room retail restocking, and general brewery operations.
This role plays an important part in ensuring order accuracy, on-time deliveries, and a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver sake to customers across assigned routes
- Complete delivery paperwork and collect payments as required
- Serve as a professional and courteous representative of the Dassai brand
- Process and fulfill purchase orders (POs), including:
- Picking and staging product
- Verifying SKU and quantity accuracy
- Preparing orders for delivery or shipment
- Prepare delivery pallets in advance to ensure accurate and efficient routes
- Assist with Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) order preparation and shipping
- Support tasting room inventory replenishment from cold storage
- Perform retail restocking to maintain organized and fully stocked displays
- Assist with general brewery and warehouse tasks
- Report delays, discrepancies, or customer feedback to the supervisor

- Maintain a high level of order accuracy and attention to detail
- Ensure orders are prepared and delivered on time and correctly
- Represent the Dassai brand with professionalism in appearance and communication
- Work effectively within a team-based workflow focused on efficiency and consistency
- Demonstrate reliability, organization, and strong work ethic
Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- At least 1 year of delivery experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability based on delivery volume
- Professional appearance is required at all times:
- Business casual attire must be worn during working hours
- Clothing should be clean and appropriate for customer-facing interactions
- Company-branded apparel may be provided and should be worn when available
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift certification (or willingness to be certified)
- Prior warehouse, retail, or tasting room experience
Shift & Schedule:
- Shifts range from 8 to 15 hours depending on delivery volume
- Start times as early as 6:00 AM
- Full-time up to 40 hours
Pay: $23.00 per hour
