Job Summary
We’re on the lookout for an energetic and personable Lead Bartender / Manager to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Take drink orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Manage cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions smoothly.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations.
- Assist in setting up for special events like banquets or nightclub nights, ensuring all beverage needs are met.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, keeping track of inventory levels and reporting shortages or issues promptly.
- Follow all food safety standards related to food handling and beverage preparation to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy nights or catering events.
Skills
- Previous experience as a bartender or in food service within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours without losing focus.
- Excellent customer service skills with an approachable personality that makes guests feel at home.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol serving regulations.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills accurately.
- Experience in catering or food industry environments is a plus, along with knowledge of brewing beverages if applicable.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days in a lively hospitality setting.
