Medical Billing Specialist Needed for Full-Time Opportunity
Job Summary:
Sunnyside Care Center, a leading sub-acute rehabilitation and long-term care facility, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our offsite business office location in Central Square, New York. As a key member of our dynamic medical billing team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our group of skilled nursing facilities across New York State.
Responsibilities:
Accurately bill Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurance claims
Review EOBs, perform credit balance analysis, generate billing reports, and reconcile claim denials
Post payments and work with insurance companies and team members remotely via phone and internet
Utilize Excel data entry skills to maintain accurate records
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Medical billing experience
Excel data entry skills
Understanding of insurance benefits
Ability to sit at a desk and be on the phone for extended periods
Must work on-site
