Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to oversee daily operations and ensure excellence across all programs and services. The ideal candidate must be a strong leader, with extensive experience in Developmental disability services and a thorough understanding of Department of Mental Health (DMH) standards and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for supported living programs.
- Ensure compliance with state and DMH regulations, contractual requirements, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that promote efficiency, accountability, and person-centered care.
- Supervise, mentor. and support management and direct service teams to maintain high performance and morale.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service quality and program development.
- Manage budgets, contracts, and resource allocation to achieve organizational goals.
- Lead quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred in (Social Services, Human Services, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field)
- Minimum 5 years of management experience with the Department of Mental Health or organization contracted with DMH
- Demonstrated leadership in supported living, residential, or community-based services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple programs and lead diverse teams effectively.
