Duties
- Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to tables swiftly and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area.
- Assist servers with guest needs by refilling drinks, providing utensils, or addressing special requests.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed to ensure timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, dining areas, and workspaces in compliance with food safety standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and efficient billing processes.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling, safety protocols, and basic food preparation techniques.
- Experience working with POS systems like Aloha or Micros enhances efficiency in order processing.
- Banquet or large-party service experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in busy settings.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are essential for success in this role.
- Kitchen or culinary experience, including hotel or hospitality settings, is advantageous.
