Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and quickly
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring food safety standards are met
- Assist in food handling tasks such as packaging, stocking supplies, and managing inventory levels
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks like serving customers and food prep seamlessly
Skills
- Experience in food preparation and food service environments, including quick service or fast food restaurants
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to upsell menu items effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and grocery store operations
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking across duties
- Previous restaurant experience or culinary background is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
