Duties
- Assist with the sanitation of all production areas, equipment, and tools to uphold strict hygiene standards.
- Support the fermentation process by monitoring temperature, pH levels, and other critical parameters.
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently, troubleshooting minor issues as needed.
- Handle raw materials and finished products using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as forklifts.
- Participate in packaging operations, including bottling, labeling, and sealing bottles or containers.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality checks, and safety procedures while adhering to safety standards in production environments.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in beverage manufacturing or food & beverage production is highly desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude with equipment troubleshooting skills; ability to operate machinery safely.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely over extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, recording data, and quality control checks.
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence within a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with brewing or craft beer production is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; leadership qualities are a bonus.
